The importance of water for our health
Everyone knows we need water. It is obvious isn’t it?
Our bodies contains at least 70% water and so it makes sense that we need to stay hydrated. However, despite that, many of us are not drinking enough pure water. It is such an important thing we can do to keep ourselves healthy so I urge you to pay attention to it.
A fellow homeopath told me that everyone should read “Your Body’s many cries for Water” by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D. I purchased a copy and wholeheartedly agree!
I found it fascinating. Dr Batmanghelidj explains that not drinking enough water (what he calls UCD (Unintentional Chronic Dehydration)), produces stress, chronic pains and many painful degenerative diseases.
Simply adjusting our water intake can lead us to live a healthier and pain-free life.
In the book he teaches:
- How to naturally prevent and reverse conditions such as asthma and allergies.
- How to naturally eliminate pains including heartburn, back pain, arthritis, colitis pain, migraine headaches.
- How to use water to prevent premature ageing.
- How to lose weight effortlessly and naturally, without strict dieting.
He sees many symptoms as the body’s “cries for water” and explains why this is in scientific terms. He also provides numerous case studies and testimonials from his clients who often were amazed to see severe problems go away just by changing their water intake (without the need for any other interventions)!
Around six glasses of water per day is what he recommends. Pure water, with a small amount of salt each day too. A glass half an hour before each meal to prepare the stomach.
He considers even herbal teas to not be as hydrating as pure water so is quite strict on what to drink. Waiting until we feel thirsty is leaving it too long, we need to make sure we are hydrated at all times.
The simplest indication of being well hydrated is that our urine should be almost clear in colour.
How many of our older friends and relatives have cut down on water intake due to ‘leakiness’? The impact on our bodies of this dehydration is likely to be pain, inflammation and a build-up of toxins because the cells can’t function properly.
If you would like to understand more, please do read this book. It could make a massive difference to your health and that of your friends and family.
Some Life-sustaining Properties of Water
Water is a solvent. Water is a means of transport. Water is a packing material. These properties of water make it possible for life to survive and exist within a “lifespan” in the society of other life forms.
Some of what water does is as follows:
The proteins and the enzymes of the body function more efficiently in solutions of lower viscosity; this is true of all the receptors in the cell membranes – means of command and control message system. In solutions of higher viscosity (in a dehydrated state), proteins and enzymes become less efficient.
Recognition of thirst of the body becomes less accurate as the body becomes more and more dehydrated in the interior of its cells – the process of ageing. Water regulates all functions of the body, including the activity of all the solutes it carries around.
The new paradigm – “Water, the solvent of the body, regulates all functions, including the activity of the solutes it dissolves and circulates” – should become the basis of all future approach to medical research. Thus, histamine formation and release is a function that is directly connected to the concentration and viscosity of the internal solutions in the body. Histamine becomes engaged in order to correct the concentration imbalance produced by dehydration. One of the most vital responsibilities of histamine in maintaining concentration balance is exercised in the central nervous system and its vast network of nerves and their distribution throughout the body…. “Your Body’s many cries for Water” by F. The energetic properties of water
We all learn valuable life lessons at our own pace, but there is one basic truth we all learn early. Positive, compassionate words comfort and heal; negative words and insults hurt. Until recently, we knew this only because we could feel it. Now we can actually see it. Thanks to the experimental work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, we can look to water, and its frozen crystals, to confirm the healing power of beautiful music, positive thinking, uplifting speech, and prayer.

Masaru Emoto has produced some incredible photos showing the effect of different things upon the structure of water. His website and books are well worth looking at.
Others have experimented by growing plants in the same conditions apart from the words that are used to them. The ones that are talked to nastily die or grow poorly compared to those receiving loving words.
It is obvious therefore that the words and thoughts we have around us affect our own body water and health.
WDS-global, who produce my bio-resonance equipment have some devices that clear energetic imprints from water. There is a drinks mat and also a water-enhancer that can be strapped to the incoming water supply. The image below shows the effect of these water enhancers.

Physical impurities in water
I also use a Berkey water filter to take the physical impurities out of the water we drink. There are many different options for water filtration – reverse osmosis takes everything out of it. Cheaper water filters take some of the easier to remove impurities out but can leave others.
Therefore it is a matter of doing some research and deciding what level of filtration is right for you.
Drinking out of glass rather than plastic is also a good idea.
