We are taught to have a big goal, plan steps along the way and strive to get there. This undoubtedly works for some things in life, especially when many people are required to achieve a goal. (I should know, I was involved in big Information Technology projects for many years!)
However, this isn’t how it works when it comes to our lives. We have to respond to feelings, our “gut feel”.
Following the golden crumbs
I did this recently for myself. A friend talked about having an excellent channelled session. Then, a few days later, I came across the same channel. Something told me she had some information I needed to hear, so I got in touch.
Straight away, her guides told me,
” We are quite impressed that you followed the golden crumbs (we could call them breadcrumbs, but they’re not bread they’re golden). The golden light crumbs that you felt. You were super clear on this desire, and you didn’t really know why you had this desire. You just got one light bulb after the next light bulb after the next light bulb, and you said this is it. There wasn’t any doubt. There was curiosity, but no doubt. You sat there, and you said this is a must because I am so curious that I can’t not do it. I’m so curious that I am propelled to do this.“
The information in the rest of the channelling session gave me a different perspective on a few areas of my life and was most useful. With all channelling, it was presented with love, humour and great patience. There was no blame or guilt piled on me so it was fun.
“We don’t do BIG”
In a shamanic healing session I did for a client recently, let’s call her Sue, the breadcrumbs came up again:
“Our advice for the Sue of today is to look for the little breadcrumbs.
To find the little snippets of inspiration.
She is looking for something really big. We don’t do big.
We do a little wave around a corner.
A casual conversation.
A picture that excites her.
Some music with a message.
She must look out for these. Each one will gradually bring her to her next steps.”
What do we need to do?
In life, often, we feel something is missing. Nothing that used to is firing up our passion any more. This is a sign that change is required.
Our human mind starts to look for the next “big thing” to aim for.
There might be a big thing out there that we feel excited about, or there might not.
Allow the future to unfold.
Our most effective role/job is to
- Stay in the present moment.
- Align with the things that bring us joy, excitement, gratitude, and happiness.
- Look out for those little breadcrumbs of guidance.
The good old mind monkeys will try to wobble us out of that, so we must somehow occupy it on other things!
This does work.
In my own life, I’ve had many occasions when I’ve had to step into trusting that life will unfold in a way that brings me happiness.
The most dramatic one, perhaps, was when I left full-time work in Corporate Information Technology for good in 2004. I have written another blog about how I followed my intuition. It might give you some ideas, too.
Step out of pushing and shoving, out of reworking past events, out of worrying about the future.
Enjoy the moment.
Find things to be grateful for.
Do things that bring you joy.
The invisible help will reach you in that higher vibration state and bring you more happiness.
If you want me to channel for you, get in touch. I can do it on its own and as part of other services.
