Meet Carol Fieldhouse – the practitioner behind Refreshing Horizons
Registered Homeopath. Bioresonance practitioner. Former IT Director. Cotswold-based, working with clients worldwide since 2005.
My Story
I left a high-powered corporate IT career in 2004 — deliberately. After years as a solutions architect overseeing systems for a major global corporation, I wanted to do something that genuinely made a difference in people’s lives.
One thing led to another. I trained as a Shamanic practitioner with Alberto Villoldo’s Four Winds Society in Peru. I qualified as a Registered Homeopath in 2008. And in 2011, I discovered e-Lybra9 bioresonance — which has become the heart of my practice ever since.
I’m not a typical holistic practitioner. My science degree and 25 years in IT lead me to bring a logical, analytical mind to everything I do, alongside the energetic and intuitive work. I need to see results — and I do.
It took me years of seeing results with clients before I fully accepted how effective this work is. So I genuinely don’t expect you to take a leap of faith. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute chat first — so you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide if it’s right for you.
WHAT I’VE LEARNED THE HARD WAY
Life has given me plenty of material to work with. Severe hayfever. Unsuccessful IVF. Being a stepmother to troubled teenagers. Living with an alcoholic. Two marriage break-ups. Each one taught me something I now use to help clients navigate their own challenges.
I don’t say this for sympathy — I say it because it matters that you know I’m not working from a textbook. I’ve been in dark places and found my way back. That’s what I help others do.
WHY I WORK REMOTELY
Working entirely remotely isn’t a limitation — it’s a deliberate choice and a genuine advantage. My clients are busy, successful people who don’t have time to travel to appointments. Bioresonance works just as effectively at a distance as in person, which means I can support clients anywhere in the world without either of us leaving home.
Once I know a client well, many prefer simply to email me their update and let me get on with the session in the background. Invisible support — exactly as it should be.
Nature doesn’t stand still. If something isn’t improving then it is probably in decline.

WHEN I’M NOT WORKING
I live in a beautiful Cotswold stone village in Oxfordshire with my Golden Retriever Flash, two foster cats, Autumn and Samuel, and two chickens, Marigold and Lightning. Flash comes everywhere with me and is very much part of the Refreshing Horizons family.
